Born into family winemaking tradition, brothers Andrew and Lane Dickson began working the harvest as young boys in the Napa Valley. Filling the old basket press, surrounded by friends and family, each vintage a storybook of childhood memories.
Today, the tradition continues as they welcome a new generation and invite you to share in the journey...
We are honored to source fruit from traditional family growers, who live on the vineyard and tend to the vines personally. These are relationships we've cultivated in the Napa Valley over the last 40 years.
Since the 1970's Andrew Lane Winery has showcased whole cluster fermentation, a primative winemaking technique that involves very little mechanization. Whole grape clusters are plucked fresh from the vine just as the sun rises and fermented whole creating a fresh-fruit style variety with explosive aromatics.
Our first white wine since Sandee and Dave earned "Best of Show" in the local newspaper circa 1983. Boxing Girl was produced in an East Bay warehouse with the same chablis-like style, crisp acid and lively aromatics she floats like a butterfly without stinging like a bee.
